Cheers to Duckstein!
Fork has redesigned and relaunched the new website for Duckstein, beer-de-luxe by the Hamburg based Holsten brewery.
The website’s main focus is, of course, the beer itself: the taste, formula, history and availability of the traditional drink. Hence, the design emphasizes the brand’s positional claim as an “art object”: the layout’s color code and simple and elegant structure allow for a visually delicious experience of the drink. Furthermore, the navigation consists of cubic elements based on a 3D visualization of the micro-macro perspective prominent in the classical brand communication developed by the Hamburg agency Zum Goldenen Hirschen. Simultaneously, different layers move and merge offering various glimpses into the Duckstein world. Thus, the website manages to successfully translate the brand’s traditional image into an invitingly fresh digital context.
