Step-by-step Instruction
OBJECTIVE
For Beiersdorf we developed the Styling Studio, a video-based manual for the NIVEA Hair Care advice section. Our task was to integrate nine video clips plus step-by-step instructions for each of the nine styling tips.
SOLUTION
We created a format from which the video spots are “staged” for an audience: by clicking on one of the teasers (bonus material not taken from the clips) the user can watch the whole clip and then get a vivid step-by-step instruction including product info for the chosen style.
RESULTS
As the NIVEA Styling Studio is an international online brand promotion to be localized for up to 26 countries, simple adaptation and updating processes had been a top priority. Therefore, we developed a solution where the selection of clips is automatically adapted to the local assortment, meaning that clips only go online when the related products are available.
