Gruner + Jahr asked us to assist at the (re-)birth of Eltern.de. After analyzing the former website we advised them on conceptual and visual aspects for the website's relaunch. Our concept focussed on enriching the emotional tonality and strengthening the media-specific benefits of the site while improving the overall usability.

Fork Unstable Media updated and reworked the online presentation complementing this year's programme: Campus 2002 - The ideal University. The outstanding architecture of the former industrial complex in Essen (inscribed in the UNESCO World Heritage List) has been used as role model to the website's graphical design. The Mentor Foundation is an international, non-government and non-profit organization, which is working on a global basis in substance abuse prevention among children and young people. Fork Unstable Media was commissioned for the conception and design of Mentor´s internet portal including the final implementation of a custom content-management-system and extensive databank and archival/retrieval system for international projects. The main target of the internet portal project is to make the daily work of policy makers and planners, field professionals and practitioners easier and to attract potential actives and concerned individuals - people with no experience but with an interest in drug prevention.

Fork had the great honor of presenting the Mentor project to Her Majesty The Queen of Sweden and His Royal Highness Grand Duke Henri of Luxembourg in November of 2001 and again at the final launch ceremonies in Lugano, Switzerland.. April, 2002!
